Origins Arso wheat

Arso wheat is a typical Apulian product whose origin dates back to centuries, when the bite of hunger signaled the peasants to harvest the ears of hard wheat survived to the harvesting and burning of steppes.

Arso grain today toasted hard wheat, because it is made from the roasting of grains with a process similar to the roasting of coffee, is distinguished by the dark color and strong aroma and for a higher content of proteins and mineral salts.
